Wedding Chicks – Mason Jar Invitation Suite

I need to start this off by calmly saying I feel honored.

Then I need to get real and shriek and jump through the roof in excitement.

Why? Wedding Chicks turned my DIY Mason Jar Invitations into a custom download on their site!

*happy dance. happy dance. happy dance*

This now means that you don’t have to download the pdf files, mess with them in vector format or anything (unless you want to). Now you can just head over to the Wedding Chicks and choose the colors you want, fill in the blank spaces and they generate it for you! You can now get the Save The Date I created too (only available through Wedding Chicks).

Invitation Suite (Invite & RSVP)

Save The Date

This is huge to me. I’m no designer, so it’s a fantasticabulousomosity compliment.

How did this happen? I emailed them on a whim just to show them, and said if they knew anyone looking for mason jar invites, since they are so hard to come by, that they could feel free to send them to the link.

Then Amy wrote back and asked if they could make them a freebie download.

I about fell off my seat.

I didn’t keep my cool, at all. At least in person I didn’t.

I mean, I was totally calm and collected.

This is all very exciting, more so for you guys. I’m so happy there is *finally* a freebie mason jar invite out there that is fun, whimsical and totally easy to customize.

Go play with it, enjoy, have fun. I have three weeks until my own wedding and I can promise you that these RSVP’s are SO fun to receive back in the mail!

Much Love & Happy Designing,

  1. Heather, thank you so much for sharing your design with us and our readers. They LOVE LOVE LOVE it! We are so excited to have something so adorable on the site.

    1. Hi
I really like this design, but when I enter my info on the website and hit the create button, I get error messages 🙁

    2. Hi Shanda, thank you! It was a fun design to make. In regards to the error, I assume you’re referring to the Wedding Chicks website. I am sorry to hear you’re having issues.. The ladies over there are super nice however and I’m sure they would want to know there is an issue with the freebie. I suggest contacting them and letting them know. They are only using my design as a freebie; I’m completely independent from their website so there’s nothing I can do on my end. Again, they are really nice ladies so definitely touch base with them.

  2. Hey Heather!
What color did you use in the RSVP jar with an “S”? That’s the color I’m going for! 🙂 Thanks a bunch!

    1. HI Laura,

I’ll need to check when I get home. It was one of the standard colors from inkscape.

  3. I didn’t know what I was looking for until I found these invitations. You have saved me a ton of thought. Thank you! Can I invite you to my wedding?! Montana is a long way…..

    1. Montana is one of the few states I’ve wanted to visit for, oh over 10 years now. So I’ll be on the next plane out and we can hang, do some crafts and have a glass of wine.

I am super happy you love these though! It’s great to know so many people love them just as much as I loved making them!

    1. You’re welcome, Alessandra! I’m so glad you like these. I love thinking that other people are using these for their wedding as well!

  4. Thank you a million times over. We are planning our wedding on a very tight budget and I have been searching high and low for something we both liked without taking out a second mortgage on the house!!! I am using the RSVP and the invites for our wedding in August. I uploaded them to vistaprint and got an amazing deal. I’m using a ton of mason jars and tin cans so your design is perfect. You are amazing!!
PS I live in Montana too! I guess us ladies have good taste!

    1. Awww I’m so glad you love them so much, Jess! This is why I put them up. I’m actually from Maine but I have always wanted to visit Montana (badly). I still maintain we’re awesome though.

  5. Hi Heather!

I can’t thank you enough for this great design! Helping my sister-in-law plan her first wedding (his too) and they have SIX kids combined. You can imagine the tight budget.

I wanted to make them return labels so they wouldn’t have to do a ton of writing. May I ask what font you used for the invite?

    Many thanks!

    1. Hi Kate! The template for the invites is here. If you scroll to the bottom I think all of the information is there! You may even be able to edit the invite and shrink it up into a return label. 🙂 I’m so glad you like these, it means a lot to me!

  6. Heather, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!! It’s exactly what I have been looking for. I have a few questions though, is there a way I can change the wording and font? I love the colors and design!!

    Thank you,

    1. Hi Amie! I’m so glad you love these! I’ve offered the original file as a freebie here. You can change the wording & font through this template. I also offer these as a custom design on Etsy, but it doesn’t include changing the font. All the instructions are in the freebie post though on how to edit them! Have fun spreading your design wings!

  7. hi! I am in love with this invite for my sister’s shower we are doing in August. Any chance the template can be changed so we can use it for a shower instead of a wedding?
